Katie was in the University of Detroit Mercy’s
Accelerated 5-Year Physician Assistant Program where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2015 and a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies in 2017. Her hobbies include reading, sewing, and going to Lions games with her family. She also enjoys spending time with her fiancé, family, and friends, and has a passion for dogs. Katie developed an interest in addiction medicine when she was in her first year of PA school and went to an inpatient rehab facility for an assignment and thought “I can see myself doing this when I graduate.” She then did a rotation the next year in an addiction medicine office and knew it was what she wanted to do.
Calli received her BSN from the
University of Tennessee, and MS as a Family Nurse Practitioner from
Georgetown University. She was introduced to addiction specialty in her first job as an NP working in a family practice that treated a high percentage of addiction patients. Calli saw the impact of addiction as a bedside nurse by treating patients with acute alcohol and opioid withdrawal but developed a passion for treating addiction patients as an NP. She has six years of RN experience working at
Michigan Medicine (formerly known as University of Michigan Hospital) as a Float Nurse. Calli enjoys spending free time with her husband who owns his own charter fishing business and enjoys traveling and spending time with their golden retriever, Charlie.
Kourtny is currently earning her associate’s in pre-social work from

This interest morphed into a desire to help those struggling with addiction when she became older and witnessed friends struggle with addicition, with some even losing their life. Kourtny is known for going “above and beyond” for patients and their needs. Her interests include reading, camping, and spending time with her family.

She enjoys building personable relationships with patients and plans to further increase her educational studies to become a nurse practitioner.
